1. General

This software will update your current version of [IX2-BSW] program.
[IX2-BSW Ver.01.01] - [IX2-BSW Ver.01.07] can be updated to [IX2-BSW Ver.01.07a].

*You can confirm your [IX2-BSW] version by booting up the [IX2-BSW] program and clicking [Help]-[Version info].
You can also confirm it printed on the label of the CD-ROM [IX2-BSW].
*Correspondence OS:
     Windows Vista Ultimate
     Windows XP Professional SP3
     Windows7 Ultimate (32bit/64bit)
*Software runs on Windows7 64bit OS via 32bit compatibility mode (WOW64)

3. Installation procedure

1. Before installation
   This software comes with an “OLYMPUS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT”. Prior to downloading the software, please read the OLYMPUS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT for sure. When downloading begins, it automatically assumes that you agreed to this AGREEMENT.
    
2. Download
   Select the file you want to download from the right side of the page.
   *Download file name: [IX2-BSW_VER0107A.exe](13.4Mbyte)
    
3. Installation procedure
   1. We strongly recommend that you exit all Windows programs.
   2. Insert the CD-ROM [IX2-BSW] of the basic software to the CD-ROM drive.
      *In case of booting up the older version of installer, please click [Cancel] to stop the procedure.
   3. Double click the file [IX2-BSW_VER0107A.exe] you saved in the folder in procedure “2. Download”.
   4. Installer will boot up. Proceed with the installation in accordance with the installer instructions.
      * If the CD-ROM [IX2-BSW] is not inserted to the CD-ROM drive, it is not possible to install the upgrading basic software [IX2-BSW Ver.01.07a].
      
      Note: Before Installation
      The software cannot be installed unless the user account is registered as "Computer Administrator". If the user account is registered as a "Restricted Account", change it to the "Computer Administrator" account. (For the user account registration, refer to the instruction manual for your PC)
       
4. Verification of version
   • When the installation is complete, boot up IX2-BSW program and click [Help]-[Version Info]. If the software has been loaded properly, “IX2 Ver.01.07” will appear for IX2 interface.
