The software cannot be installed unless the user account is registered as "Computer Administrator". If the user account is registered as a "Restricted Account", change it to the "Computer Administrator" account. (For the user account registration, refer to the instruction manual for your PC.)
* Exit out of all applications running before you update the software.
Decompression of download file
Double-click the downloaded file 「DP2BSW0202.exe」.
Select the folder to decompress and click the [Unzip] button.
After clicking the [Unzip] button, the folder [DP2BSW0202] is created and files are unzipped in this folder.
Software installation
Exit out all software, and attach a dongle for software protection to the appropriate port of your PC. When you install this software on a PC for the first time (i.e. PC without Ver.2.1 installed), the [New Hardware Detection Wizard] dialog box will appear on the screen. In this case, click the [Cancel] button.
Double-Click the [setup] file in decompressed folder [DP2BSW0202].
Select [Allow] when the [User Account Control] dialog box is displayed.
Choose a language. Select the language which you use and click the [Next] button.
[Customer Information] will appear. Enter the user’s information and click the [Next] button.
[Choose Destination Location] will appear. If you need to change the location for DP2-BSW, click the [Browse…] button and select the desired folder. Click the [Next] button.
[Select Additional Tasks] will appear. Check additional tasks that you would like to setup to perform. Click the [Next] button.
Click the [Next] button to start installation.
[Click the [Next] button to start installation.]When installation is completed, click the [Finish] button.
[End-User License Agreement] will appear when you start this software first after the installation of DP2-BSW. Read the "OLYMPUS END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT". If you agree, select [I accept the terms in the license agreement.] and click the [Continue] button.
