The transmitted light detection module is a very useful addition to the FLUOVIEW FV1200 confocal and FV1200MPE multiphoton microscope. The external PMT detector for transmitted light and 100 W halogen conventional illumination are integrated for laser scanning and conventional transmitted light Nomarski DIC observation. The motorized exchange between these two modes enables simultaneous multichannel confocal fluorescence imaging and transmitted DIC acquisition for a versatile range of observational requirements.

The external PMT detector for transmitted light and 100 W halogen conventional illumination are integrated in this module, enabling both laser scanning and conventional transmitted light Nomarski DIC observation using one unit.
The motorized exchange between modes in this unit enables simultaneous multichannel confocal fluorescence image and transmitted DIC acquisition with the FV1200 confocal and FV1200MPE multiphoton microscope.
The use of an optical fiber-coupled transmitted light detector and brightfield illuminator unit prevents heat generated by the illuminator from interfering with the imaging process.
This unit is fully compatible with the FLUOVIEW FV1000 and FV1000MPE systems.
