System requirements (host) | ● Open ports for HTTP; default port setting is 80 for server, 8080 for video streaming. Port numbers can be changed on host. ● Host PC must meet the specification requirements for cellSens software. ● NetCam server IP address is set on host PC using cellSens software and is a local IP address. If clients want to view the images outside of the host’s network, network administrators must set up either network address translation (NAT) or IP forwarding and must share the global IP address to attendees. |
System requirements (client) | ● Internet Explorer version 6 or later ● JavaScript enabled ● VLC player (v. 2.0.5 recommended). If you have not installed the plug-in, “Download NetCam Viewer” will appear when you enter the address in your browser’s address bar. Clicking on this link takes you to a webpage where you can download the plug-in. You can also type ● Open ports for HTTP. The two ports for the server protocol and video streaming protocol should be set on host. They should be open for the client as well. |
