With a 2,000-hour warranty and a typical lifetime of over 2,500 hours, the powerful 200W X-Cite lamp has ten times the lifespan of a conventional mercury lamp, saving time and reducing operating costs.

Pre-aligned and focused for easier installation

The days of difficult and cumbersome lamp changes and alignments are now gone. The X-Cite adaptor attaches easily onto an existing microscope light port. To change the bulb, simply remove the old one and click the new one in place.

High-speed Internal Shutter

The X-Cite exacte is equipped with a high-speed internal shutter activated by push-button, foot pedal, RS-232 commands or TTL, eliminating the need to purchase additional hardware for high-speed applications. A rapid response time of less than 6ms (TTL activation) for time critical exposures protects delicate specimens.

Heat and vibration reduction

The X-Cite unit connects to the microscope with a liquid light guide. Remote placement of the unit ensures that no heat or vibration is transferred to the microscope and allows you to optimize of valuable workspace.

Hot-strike prevention

Hot strikes shorten lamp life and cause premature intensity degradation. The Intelli-Lamp continually monitors lamp temperature, preventing restrikes until the lamp cools to a 'safe-to-restart' state.

The convenient USB connection allows seamless integration into cellSens imaging software for the automation of complex multi-dimensional imaging tasks.
