The moiré cards is a pattern designed to simulate the change in size of a playing card symbols. As the lines of the parallel grid move across the symbol patterns, an alternating series of images appears to resemble the resizing.

Use the alternating "Manual" and "Auto" button below to control whether the grid moves on its own (Auto), or whether you control movement (Manual).
